Happy
New Year From the Abel Family 2023 was the
biggest year for travel yet. big plans for 2024 |

Mumtaz’s birthday
celebrations return to normal after 2 years of COVID restrictions. Despite
the photo looking a lot like the photo from the last 2 years, it was a proper
celebration |

We travelled to
Kingston and Montreal and dropped in on Roshan, Nuroz
and Zul |
We continued to
Montreal to visit Rehana, Naeem, Ayaan, Inaya and
Layla. Yasmin arrived from Vancouver;
Mumtaz stayed on for the rest of the week |
Mumtaz was in
Montreal for rollicking Pi Day Celebrations. |
Yasmin visited in
late March, Sam and Trevor joined us for an evening culminating in Sam’s
birthday party. Strange but we
took no photos during all of this. |

Celebrations were
getting back to normal post COVID, Sam travelled to St. Catharines for
Mothers’ Day. Fathers’ Day was
celebrated in Toronto with Miniature Golf, no photos this year. |

In June we travel
to Alberta. In Calgary we
checked in with Cindy, long overdue. Also met David, a
colleague and friend from our Vancouver days. And we were at the ceremony for newborn Naiyah, congratulations to proud parents Naushad and Aliyah and proud grandparents Nazir and Shamim. |

Yasmin joins us in Edmonton, and we visit with Nazim and Rosemin, by coincidence, Nabil and Farah are also visiting from London. |
We also stop south of Rocky Mountain House to visit with Willy, a colleague from our Calgary days. |
